Removal and installation of multi-function switch

Removal

Caution

After removal of the multi-function switch, fix the clock spring with tie wraps to prevent damage caused by rotation of the clock spring. If it has been rotated, please adjust it back to its original position as required.

  1. Remove the steering wheel assembly. Refer to Removal and installation of steering wheel assembly 

  2. Remove the lower shield of multi-function switch. Refer to Removal and installation of lower shield assembly of multi-function switch 

  3. Remove the multi-function switch.

    1. Detach 1 fixing clip of the instrument panel wiring harness.

    2. Disconnect 3 connectors from the multi-function switch.

  4. Remove 1 fixing screw and take out the multi-function switch.

Installation

  1. Install it in the reverse order of removal.
