Removal and installation of 12 V battery

Removal

  1. Power off the low-voltage electrical system. Refer toPower-off and power-on of low-voltage electrical system 

  2. Lift the carpet assembly to a proper position.

  3. Move floor wiring harness I (with positive fuse box).

    1. Disconnect 1 connector.

    2. Remove 1 fixing nut.

      • Tightening torque: 13N•m

    3. Remove 1 fixing bolt.

      • Tightening torque: 6N•m

    4. Detach 2 fixing clips and move aside the floor wiring harness I (with positive fuse box) to a proper position.

  4. Remove 4 fixing nuts and take out the 12 V battery.

    • Tightening torque: 9N•m

Installation

Reminder
Check the fastening clip for damage and replace it if necessary!

  1. Install it in the reverse order of removal.
