Before repairing any components of the low-voltage electrical system, power off the system according to the following requirements, and power on it after repair, unless otherwise specified in the operating procedure.
If tools or equipment are easy to contact the electrode terminals of 12 V battery and cable connectors, it is also necessary to power off the low-voltage electrical system.
Violation against the above safety instructions may result in personal injury or vehicle damage.
Power off the vehicle.
Rotate and fold the rear seat cushion upward.
Uncover the reserved opening of carpet assembly.
Loosen 1 fixing nut and detach the 12 V battery negative harness from the 12 V battery.
After the negative cable joint is disconnected, the negative terminal of 12 V battery must be insulated and packaged to prevent it from contacting other metals in the vehicle and causing circuit safety hazards.
Before power-on, make sure that electrical circuits of the vehicle are well connected and there is no flammable or explosive article near the negative terminal of 12 V battery.
After installing the negative cable joint of 12 V battery, power on the vehicle (OK mode), and check that the electric appliances of the vehicle are functioning normally. In this case, the low-voltage electrical system of the vehicle has been powered on.
A low 12 V battery may cause the failure of the low-voltage electrical system to be powered on properly. In this case, check whether the 12 V battery is low, and power on the low-voltage electrical system again.
Install other components in the reverse order of removal.
