Removal and installation of front left shield assembly of auxiliary instrument panel

Caution
Be careful during removal to avoid scratching the surface material.

  1. Remove the lower left sound insulation board of instrument panel. Refer to Removal and installation of lower left sound insulation board assembly of instrument panel   

  2. Remove the front left shield assembly of auxiliary instrument panel.

    1. Carefully pry out the front left shield assembly of auxiliary instrument panel with a plastic pry plate.

    2. Detach the front left shield assembly of auxiliary instrument panel from the auxiliary instrument panel body assembly.

    Reminder

    Before removal, move the front passenger's seat assembly to the rearmost position.

  3. Disconnect 1 connector from the DAB box.

  4. Take out the front left shield assembly of auxiliary instrument panel.

  5. To replace the front left shield assembly of auxiliary instrument panel, remove the following accessories:

Caution
Before installation, check for any missing or damaged clips. If any, install a new clip.

  1. Install it in the reverse order of removal.
