Removal and installation of front wiper waterproof rubber sleeve

Removal

Reminder
The removal and installation methods of front wiper waterproof rubber sleeves on the left and right sides are the same. Take the left one as an example.

  1. Remove the wiper arm trim screw cap. Refer to Removal and installation of wiper arm trim screw cap 

  2. Remove 1 fixing bolt and take out the left arm and blade assembly of front wiper.

    • Tightening torque: 24 N•m

    Caution

    • The wiper arm assembly may be connected tightly with the front wiper drive system assembly, so it is necessary to carefully shake the wiper arm assembly upward by hand before removal.

    • During removal, be careful not to damage the front windshield due to the rebound of the wiper arm assembly.

  3. Carefully pry out the front wiper waterproof rubber sleeve.

Installation

  1. Install it in the reverse order of removal.
