Removal and installation of left A-pillar upper shield assembly

Caution
Be careful during the removal of trim panel to avoid scratching the surface material.

  1. Remove the side curtain airbag identification plug cap. Refer to Removal and installation of side curtain airbag identification plug cap (on A-pillar upper shield assembly) 

  2. Remove the front left door frame sealing strip partially.

  3. Detach 2 fixing clips and take out the left A-pillar upper shield assembly.

Install

Caution
Before installation, check for any missing or damaged clips. If any, install a new clip.

  1. Install it in the reverse order of removal.
